Fire Sale 30% Off

It’s 2010 and Capital is having a FIRE SALE! A sale on our fire insurance products added to your Evolution program that is!
We are discounting more than 30%.

For a limited time, until we sell at least 100 units, you may add fire companies for the red hot price of $74.99 each annually instead of our regular price of $108.00 each annually AND you will retain that price as long as you retain the new carrier’s fire rates in your program. There is no limit to how many you may add.

As a bonus, add at least THREE new ones, and we will reduce the price of all your current fire carriers to $74.99 each as well.

Show your customers the best rate and best coverage your carriers offer. Add new business to your Personal Lines book.

You are not limited to the carriers in our current library. If you want one not yet in our library, we will program it especially for you.

Current popular carriers include:

Allied P&C, Auto-Owners, Citizens, Farmers & Merchants, Farmers Mutual, Fremont, MBPIA, Michigan Insurance, Northern, Pioneer, and Wolverine.

EVOLUTION Enhancements and Upgrades:

Released:
  • Wolverine Personal Auto Real-Time Launch!

    Wolverine Mutual

Wolverine and Capital Software have introduced Wolverine’s Personal Auto Real-Time Product to Michigan agencies as of Thursday, February 4, 2010. Capital Software is the ONLY comparison rater in the country to support Real-Time for Wolverine Mutual! We thank our friends at Wolverine for helping us deliver this important milestone for both of our companies!

  • Fremont Homeowners Real-Time Launch!

    Fremont Insurance

Fremont and Capital Software have introduced Fremont's Real-Time Homeowners product to Michigan agencies as of Monday, February 1st.
Pending:
  • Copycap 6.1:

A revision to Copycap is in development which will add Windows 7 compatibility and provide other improvements to the file compression and transfer process. These enhancements will be mostly invisible to users although some text displays have been updated. There is no need to download a separate update or reinstall Copycap. Copycap even updates itself!
  • Evolution Passport Phase II:

We will soon be ready to begin agency testing of the User log-in screens for Evolution. If your agency is willing to be a beta tester, please give us a call or email CustomerService@capitalrating.com.

  • From the desk of our developers:
    • New "View" feature added to Homeowners and Dwelling Fire:

We have replaced the [Map] button that was next to the property location address with a new [View] button. Microsoft has recently introduced a new search engine, called Bing, that is intended to compete with Google. It has a very nice location view option that allows the user to get both an aerial view and what they call a “birds’ eye” view of the property. Not every property has a birds’ eye view available. This view allows the user to zoom in and rotate around the property so you can do some preliminary underwriting, looking for adjacent hazards, etc. Try it, and let us know how you like it.

Carrier Product, Price, Scoring, Bridging or POS Changes:

    Released:
    • Wolverine and Capital Software have introduced Wolverine’s Real-Time Personal Auto product to Michigan agencies as of 2/4/2010.
    • Fremont and Capital Software have introduced Fremont's Real-Time Homeowners product to Michigan agencies as of 2/1/2010.
    • A “Change button” was added to Evolution single-company premium screens. Look for a button with a triangle on it next to the Bridge/Link button in the bottom right hand corner of a carrier’s premium screen. This allows you to jump back to the carrier-specific screen for that carrier and make changes to the quote! The quote will be instantly rerated (for that company only) and updated with your changes. This function is disabled when recalling a stored quote.
    • Great Lakes Casualty introduced a Group Discount for their MVP program effective 02/04/2010.
    • Alphabetized some group dropdowns for companies with a large number of groups. You will now be able to type the first letter of the group and jump immediately to that section. This does not affect all carriers.
    • Added a “No Group” option for Allied PC Personal Auto Real-Time for those agencies which don’t have access to groups.
    • Corrected bridging error in Pioneer Personal Auto which prevented some insurance score information from populating CPM.
    • Corrected display error in Wolverine which displayed policy term as 0 months.
    • Corrected error in Northern Mutual which occurred when visiting the Northern Mutual screen in Evoltion and added insurance score raw display to printouts and apps.
    • Corrected error in NASA Eclipse integration which caused the first digit of the SSN to be dropped if it was a leading zero.
    • Northern Mutual has announced a base rate increase for Personal Auto (Comprehensive and PIP) effective 03/10/2010 for both New Business and Renewals. In addition, we have converted our Northern Personal Auto rate module to a new format.
    Pending:
    • Citizens has announced a rate revision for their Connections Personal Auto product effective 05/01/2010 for New Business and 03/02/2010 for Renewals.

    • Auto-Owners and Capital continue working on a joint project to introduce Auto-Owners Real-Time Homeowners product to Michigan agencies. We are excited to be working with them on this enhancement and we both will try to get it to our agencies as quickly as possible.
