EVOLUTION Workstation Client Install. Winclient Download

If you have Capital Software'sEVOLUTION installed on a network, you must also perform a client install on each workstation. This file will get the station ready to run our programs.

This is a "client workstation" install only. EVOLUTION must already be installed on your network. I
f you do not have EVOLUTION on your network, please call 800-832-4457 or email Customer Service to order a CD or internet download..

To download the file:

Click the "Download WinClient Now" link.

When your browser asks what to do with the file, select "Save this program to disk" and click OK.

In the "Save As" dialog, select the drive and directory where EVOLUTION, is installed, then click Save. (For example, if you have Capital installed on your F: drive, select F:\Capital. If you are not sure, ask your network administrator.)

To perform the client installation:

Once the file is downloaded, go to the workstation that needs to be set up, and double-click on the "My Computer" icon. Go to the drive and directory where you saved the file (in step 3 above), and double-click on WINCLIENT.EXE.

Note: Other users can continue to work in EVOLUTION while this workstation is running the client install.

Follow the instructions on screen to complete the Client installation for EVOLUTION.

When you are prompted for the Destination Directory, make sure that the drive and directory where EVOLUTION is installed is displayed. (This is the same drive and directory that you downloaded the file to in step 3 above.)

Perform the client installation on each workstation that needs to be set up.
